An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Saturday, happening 6 times
Saturday Morning Maker Camp
Bring the fun of our summer STEM camps to your Saturday mornings! Kids in grades 2– 8 will enjoy this immersive six-week series of 2-hour sessions led by our professional Maker Space educator. Each project-based session allows students to be creative and experiment in a way they can’t in their regular classroom.
Each session is $25. Sign up for all six and receive one free! Space is limited to 12 students. All students are welcome to stay and play in our exhibit hall with a parent for free after class!
CURRENT CAMP
Saturdays @ 10:30am
January 23rd – February 27th
Junk Drawer Inventor: Students in this Saturday morning camp will use up-cycled household and common objects to solve a variety of engineering challenges. Creativity and critical thinking will be key as students make cardboard creations, build cities and bridges, take apart and reimagine toys, build hydraulic lifts and more! This camp is designed to make students look differently at the world around them, observing common objects and imagining new purposes for them. It will also allow them to work collaboratively and iterate through the engineering design process.
Masks are required in our facility. All COVID-19 safety policies apply.
