Homeschool Class: Wind to Water

April 26, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Wind to Water-Natural Energy to Mechanical Means: Students will learn to maximize the breeze that blows outside to create energy. Then they will explore the potential energy in the falling of water. Students will finish up by making a tidal energy simulator that is created by lunar cycles.

Students will listen to brief instruction, be engaged in group and individual activities geared towards meaningful application, create various hands-on manipulative pieces that they will be able to take home, and may complete occasional assessments and homework assignments. All classes are based on the Standards Aligned System of the PA Department of Education. In addition, we strive to accommodate students’ individual needs and learning styles.

Class dates and times are subject to change. Please call STEM Educator, Rachel Cahill, at 717-509-6363 x105 or to confirm class schedules and with any questions you have about homeschool programming.

Registration required:

Registration closes three days prior to each class.
