The Lancaster Science Factory and the North Museum of Nature and Science—two museums for one low price!

August 16, 2016

The Lancaster Science Factory and the North Museum of Nature and Science are collaborating to offer both museums for one low price through a Double the Discovery program.

With the purchase of a Lancaster Science Factory or North Museum Membership, you have the opportunity to add a Family Level Membership to the other museum for an additional $45 (a 50 percent savings).

“Double the Discovery offers the Lancaster community a world of fascinating science and inspiration, whenever you want it throughout the year. By teaming up on membership, the Science Factory and North Museum are able to bring you inspiring, enlightening experiences at one affordable price,” said Emily Landis, executive director of the Lancaster Science Factory. “We are committed to offering opportunities to the entire community for exploration, discovery, and inspiration. By providing visitors access to the benefits of membership at both locations and at one rate, the Double the Discovery program opens the door just a bit wider,” said Terry Kraft, executive director of the North Museum.

Passes may be purchased at either museum, over the phone at the respective numbers below and on each institution’s website.

The Lancaster Science Factory creates an environment for learning which helps children develop curiosity, think creatively and build confidence as they learn the principles of science and the application of science in engineering and technology, with highly interactive exhibits, workstations and mini-labs offer “open-ended” learning experiences with opportunities for visitors to experiment and create.

The North Museum’s mission is to inspire curiosity, discovery, and a lifelong appreciation of nature, science, and cultures through educational exhibits, collections, and programs. While at the Museum, visitors of all ages explore nature and sciences from astronomy to zoology with real museum artifacts and hands-on activities.
