Adoption Coalition to Sponsor Myth-Busting Night at Science FactoryFor Immediate Release - April 21, 2010 The Adoption Coalition of Lancaster County (ACLC) is sponsoring a free Myth-Busting Night at the Lancaster Science Factory for those interested in learning more about foster care and adoption. The event is scheduled for Monday, May 24, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster. In addition to free admission to all of the regular Science Factory attractions, the event will provide opportunity to talk with current foster and adoptive families and representatives of Adoption Coalition member agencies. In addition, those who attend will be entered to win door prizes. Pre-registration is not required. The Adoption Coalition of Lancaster County is a group of agencies affiliated with the Statewide Adoption & Permanency Network (SWAN), who share the goal of finding permanent adoptive homes for children in the state foster care system.
