Plan Your VisitWhen should I visit the Science Factory?The Science Factory is currently open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. We are open on Mondays that schools are closed. Who should visit the Science Factory?Science Factory exhibits are geared for ages 7-13 but is fun for the whole family. The main exhibit gallery, the Castagna Learning Center and all exhibits are wheelchair accessible. Members of other Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) museums are welcome to use their membership at the Science Factory if they meet the proper guidelines. How do I get to the Science Factory?The Science Factory is located at 454 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17602 (Where Plum Street joins New Holland Avenue.) Or try 40.0463°N 76.2965°W. Click for more specific directions and parking information. How much does it cost to visit the Science Factory?The Lancaster Science Factory has several affordable admission price levels. You may want to consider purchasing a membership, which allows you to come as many times as you want in one year! What do I do when I get to the Science Factory?The average visit time to the Science Factory is about two hours. Check in at our front desk and then let the fun begin! Our open floor space allows you to move from exhibit-to-exhibit at your own pace - no map needed! Your admission is good until we close for business that day. You are welcome to take a break and come back later to play some more!
