Will you build an onager style catapult, or a ballista, or even go for the counter-weight powered trebuchet? Design, build, and improve at K'nex Catapults. For ages 7 and older. Starting immediately after the K'nex Catapults class, from 2:00-5:00, the Lancaster Science Factory is filming a promotional video to be shown to schools and embedded in our website. You can be a part of it! Just stay after the K'nex Catapults class, or come in just for the video.Chicken Wing Dissection - Raise your hand if there's a lot going on inside your arm! Muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments all work as a team each time you move. But how do they come together? Explore the inside of a chicken's wing to see the interplay of these systems. For ages 6 and older. Tuesday, March 9 from 1:30-2:30. $12/child (Members and Educator's Members receive 10% off.) Cow's Eye Dissection - Oh yeah! It's disgusting, but so cool. Learn the parts of the eye and how vision works, as you work your way through a cow's eye. For ages 6 and older. Thursday, March 18 from 1:30-2:30. $12/child (Members and Educator's Members receive 10% off.) Parents may attend with their children for free.
